During your test, the examiner will ask you one 'Show Me' question, and one 'Tell Me' question. While it isn't mandatory to get these questions right, getting one wrong will result in a minor fault.
Your Progress instructor will be practicing these with you before your test, and they are shown below to make things easier for you.

When it’s safe to do so, can you show me how you wash and clean the rear windscreen?
Operate lever or switch to clean the rear windscreen. Engine does not have to be started for this demonstration.
When it’s safe to do so, can you show me how you wash and clean the front windscreen?
Operate lever or switch to clean the front windscreen. Engine does not have to be started for this demonstration.
When it’s safe to do so, can you show me how you’d switch on your dipped headlights?
Operate switch (with ignition or engine on if necessary); check with headlight warning light.
When it’s safe to do so, can you show me how you’d set the rear demister?
Set all relevant controls, including fan, temperature, air direction and heated screen to clear the rear windscreen. Engine does not have to be started for this demonstration.
When it’s safe to do so, can you show me how you’d operate the horn?
Check is carried out by using the horn control. (You may need to switch on the ignition).
When it’s safe to do so, can you show me how you’d demist the front windscreen?
Set all relevant controls, including fan, temperature, air direction and heated screen to clear the front windscreen. Engine does not have to be started for this demonstration.
When it’s safe to do so, can you show me how you’d open and close the side window?
Operate lever or switch to open and close the side window. This switch is usually on the door or center of the car near the handbrake.
