A driving test can be a pretty stressful time. You will often find that when it comes to this test, some students can fail because they make some very basic mistakes. It’s often more to do with nerves than anything else - understandable in the circumstances.

We are pleased to report that we are back and ready to start driving lessons once again. So let’s dive right into when we will be rescheduling tests, when we can start giving lessons, and what cautions we have taken to keep you safe during COVID-19.

The UK has gone into lockdown over the COVID–19 virus, and sadly whether we like it or not driving lessons are not considered an essential service and we have for now stopped when lockdown started.

2020 is a new year and the start of a new decade. It is also the beginning of attempts to tackle some of the problems surrounding driving, which involves introducing new rules and regulations for all drivers starting from the 1st of January.

With the clocks about to go back and temperatures starting to fall it is safe to say winter has arrived. Winter driving requires a little more thought and preparation in order to stay safe.

When it comes to driving a car, you are in control of how fast you go. This means that if you break a speed limit, or you drive too fast, well then that is down to you. However, it is thought that by 2022 this could all change, thanks to a recent EU ruling.

Ahead of our charity event for Progress Youth this coming Saturday (1st June 2019), we look at why giving teenagers ages 14+ the exposure to a real driving instructor and the importance of road safety at a young age can mature them into safer drivers at 17.

Today at Progress School of Motoring, we explore the benefits of gaining driving experience at a young age - ahead of our launch event of Progress Youth with all proceeds going to Cancer Research UK. The launch event on the 1st June 2019, at Prestatyn Market, will see us hand over our car keys to teenagers aged 14+. Everyone is welcome to join us for what will be an insightful, fun day.
