Progress School of Motoring - We’re Back!

Posted in: Progress News
It’s been a long road getting out of lockdown and to be honest, it's been a concerning time for businesses of all types during the last 12 months. But, we’re back now, and ready to start providing people with the best driving lessons and learning experience across North Wales. Thanks to a massive decline in the number of daily COVID-19 cases, restrictions have been eased and that means we can get back to doing what we do best; providing learners with safe, secure and qualified driving lessons.
We’re ready to start delivering a lot of routine lessons and bookings to people in regards to learning to drive, so let’s talk about what we’ve got on offer.

The Return of Driving Lessons

We’re pleased to announce that driving lessons have made a triumphant return to the world, and from the 12th of April we were given the go ahead to get back to doing what we do best, teaching people how to drive.
That means that you’re now welcome to book driving lessons with us. We have been teaching people how to drive effectively and safely for a long time now, and we have been refining our processes and lessons during the lockdown period in preparation for returning to some form of post-COVID normality.
We remain committed to pairing you up with an instructor that will suit your schedule, style of driving and location. We offer courses that take as long or as dynamic as you need them to. Whether you want to learn to drive gradually over a period of months, or you want an intensive course that gets you on the road quickly, we are more than happy to facilitate your needs.

Driving Tests Coming Soon

For those of you who are interested or about taking a driving test, these are coming soon. Driving tests will be available to book from the 22nd of April, so by the time you read this, you can probably book in your test. We are more than happy to help with this process, and will obviously prepare you for the driving test. It's worth noting that those who had tests booked previously will be given first access to rebook via the DVSA, therefore booking should start to return to normal from early May. Contact us with any questions you may have.
If you want to practice independently for either a driving theory or practical test, here’s what you can do. We’ve got a mock theory test practice tool here on the website that you can take a look at - this will show you what kind of questions they’ll ask you, what you need to think about in terms of topics, etc. Furthermore, if you download our Progress Motoring app, you can practice hazard perception too.

Final Thoughts

We’re so happy to be finally reopening our doors to the next generation of learner drivers. Whether you’re someone getting behind the wheel for the very first time, or you’re returning to driving following a hiatus, we’re happy to help. Obviously, we’ll continue to practice good hygiene standards in our vehicles and whenever we interact with drivers because there is no reason not to stay safe! If you need to book some lessons or a test, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us and ask what we can do for you, we’re more than happy to help you figure it out!

We look forward to hearing from you!
