The moment that we have all been waiting for has been announced. The lockdown period has been finally deemed to be ending gradually over the coming months, with a roadmap set out to have England (and hopefully the rest of the UK) out of restrictions by the end of June. This means that businesses like ourselves will be able to open back up to full capacity, which means we can get back to doing what we do best - helping our new drivers get out on the road confidently, and safely.
Our talented team of driving instructors operating in the North Wales area are more than happy to get back to providing driving lessons for people, and it’s important that we all stay on the same page with regards to what we can do, and when we're allowed to get back out on the road.
Get in Touch Now
If you want to make sure that you can resume your driving lessons when the lockdown period is over, it would be sensible to get in touch with us now. If you confirm that you are in a position to resume driving, we can begin the process of matching you up with an instructor who will assist you in reaching your full potential as a qualified driver.
We understand that driving can be a very challenging thing if you have been off the road for a while, so we want you to feel as comfortable and prepared as possible leaning back into life behind the wheel.
Preparing For Tests
Another big benefit of being ready to get back into the world of driving is that the chance to take your driving theory test will now reappear, so get practising again! Naturally, you will want to take your theory test as soon as possible, and there are things that you can do to make sure that you have the best chance of passing on the first attempt.
Make sure that you re-read the driving theory handbook because this will provide you with a refresher course on everything that you need to know. It’s also highly recommended that you remember to practice hazard spotting and to use any official resources that you can find. Preparation is the best way to pass the driving theory test, as this part of the test can be a very challenging one if you are not in the habit of driving regularly. Obviously, everybody here at the Progress team is more than happy to help you in this regard.
Refresher SessionsIf for whatever reason you have been off the road for a long period of time, remember our sister-company Progress Youth specialises in giving adults aged 17 through to 100+ years driving refresher courses, where you will have the ability to sit with one of our qualified DVSA-approved driving instructors in either your own car or one of our high-quality dual-controlled cars in a safe way, in order to refresh your knowledge and build back confidence. If you would like any number of refresher sessions, please call us on 08455 211 275 or message us here at any time.
We are very happy that we will be able to get out on the roads and begin to start to drive again soon. We look forward to teaching people how to be confident and safe while driving a car, so we do actively encourage you to get in touch with us and confirm your position. There has never been a better time to re-commit to learning how to drive, as it is a useful skill that will give you many opportunities in the future. It won’t be long now until we can all get back out on the roads to start learning, so it’s important to be prepared and to reserve your place with us. We look forward to seeing you all soon.
