We’re so excited to finally be getting back to driving lessons from the July 27th!
COVID-19 has left a lot of businesses struggling to try and keep themselves alive during the lockdown period. However, with the easing of said lockdown well underway, it means that a lot of businesses can get back to doing what they do best, and providing excellent services.
We are pleased to report that we are back and ready to start driving lessons once again. So let’s dive right into when we will be rescheduling tests, when we can start giving lessons, and what cautions we have taken to keep you safe during COVID-19.
27th July - Save the Date
The 27th of July is the date that you are going to want to save in the calendar because that is when we can start providing you with driving lessons once again. It is a decision which we have made with nothing but your good health in mind, and so we have taken the appropriate precautions to make sure that you are properly looked after during your time with us.
We make sure to conduct all of our lessons in a very secure, COVID-safe way. That means that prior to any lesson, we will ask students to confirm that they do not have any symptoms. If you do, then we’ll be sending you home - but don’t worry, you won’t be charged for the privilege. Instead, you’ll be allowed to take the lesson when you’re healthy again. Similarly, we request that all students call prior to their lesson if they feel they have symptoms before their lesson too - there'll never be a cancellation charge for these purposes. Safety first!
We’ll also be taking great care to clean the vehicles after you’ve been using them, putting an emphasis on making sure that you are safe from harm - we focus a lot on the touchpoints of the vehicle when cleaning to ensure we're 100% COVID-secure.
Face MasksIn regards to face masks, we'll continuously be following government advice. Currently, this states that it is not mandatory to wear masks, however, in close proximity it is recommended to wear them where possible. With this in mind, some of our instructors will be wearing masks during the lessons, and should others feel this isn't necessary due to ensuring best communication between the instructor and student, then that will be discussed on a case-by-case basis. Furthermore, we request all students to wear masks during lessons at all times, in order to keep themselves and our team safe. Should you have any personal reason not to wear a mask, simply inform the instructor of this when booking your lesson. We do request students bring their own masks, however should you not have one on the day of your lesson, your instructor will provide you with one.
Tests are starting back up again
We’re also going to be providing you with all the support and guidance you'll need as Theory and Practical tests start back up.
Understandably, it’s very important that people can get to have their driving tests as soon as possible to be out on the roads. That is why the driving theory test will be available from the 3rd of August, and from the 17th, you’ll be able to undertake your practical examination as well.
As you can see, this is all part of our plan to make sure that you have the best experience possible - we do this by working closely with you to provide you with expert resources, but in a healthy and safe way.
In conclusion, we’ve never been happier to be able to get back out there and start giving you the driving lessons which we know you need once again. We understand how important it can be for you to get the experience you need for success in your tests, along with the reassurance we're fully COVID-secure. We’ve worked hard to give you what you need, and haven’t wavered in our commitment to you. Please feel free to contact us with any questions or queries you might have about the way that we do things, and we will be happy to sit down with you either on the phone or in person and put your mind to rest.
