We're open and our wheels are turning!

With the easing of the recent lockdown restrictions in Wales, lessons are booking up fast here at Progress School of Motoring. After weeks of being unable to take lessons and sit tests, learner drivers are keen to get their test booked in and hopefully pass now that Progress School of Motoring is once again open and on the road. The weeks that we have been closed has led to a large number of people wanting to get their tests booked in within a short amount of time and this means that driving lessons are booking up very quickly as we strive to get back on track. Progress aims to help as many drivers get back to normal as much as we can and so recommend booking in your lessons as soon as you possibly can. Get in touch with us here to book in.

With driving tests getting booked so quickly and lessons filling up just as fast, it is advisable that you enquire sooner rather than later if you want to get your lessons back on track towards a practical test.

If you are a learner driver in North Wales, Progress School of Motoring may just be the driving instructor you need to help you achieve your driving dreams. We serve a large number of areas in the North Wales area, helping drivers with both the practical and the theoretical side of things. These areas include Flintshire, Prestatyn, Rhyl, Towyn, Colwyn Bay, Llandudno, Conwy, Bangor, Anglesey and many others.

Many learner drivers have struggled with being unable to take their lessons during the time motoring centres were closed, and we feel the pain. Plenty of these students have set goals to have passed their practical tests before a certain time and have found that time is quickly running out to achieve their goal. All the team here at Progress want you to know we will do everything we can to help and support you get on the road in a safe and efficient way, as quickly as possible.

With this in mind, Progress School of Motoring offers a variety of intensive courses to help those looking to learn to drive in the North Wales area. There are many benefits to taking an intensive crash course with us. You will be paired up with one of our qualified DVSA-approved driving instructors who are local to the area you want to learn to drive in. This driving instructor will have an in-depth knowledge of the area and what it has to offer. All of our instructors are trained and maintained to the highest standards held by Progress and this gives you the best chance of passing. Our teams' knowledge of the area, the routes for the test and the testing centre are invaluable to you as a driver and they are exactly what you need to get you closer to passing your test as confidently as possible.

Intensive Courses

There are multiple areas covered by all of our instructors and we have a variety of different financial options available so that learner drivers can find the perfect course for them. Progress School of Motoring will work with you to find the right course for you and your needs. There are various options available – you can take a 1-day course which spans over 6 hours, a 2-day course which takes 10 hours, a 3-day course which takes 12 hours to complete – these courses go all the way up to a 10-day course which requires 50 hours to complete it. Your level of knowledge and previous driving lesson experience will be assessed to see what course would be best for you – those with no prior experience should expect to take the most intensive course with the most hours whilst others may be more suitable for the smaller courses as a simple refresher.

Driving is a much-needed skill in today’s society and learner drivers are keen to get their driving licence as quickly as possible. These intensive courses offer drivers the chance to hone their driving skills and get them closer towards passing their practical test, aided by our Progress instructors who know exactly what they are doing and what you need to be doing to pass your test. With the chance that people may have forgotten some of the things they had learned previously, these courses truly are invaluable.

Driving lessons being allowed once again means that people are getting the chance to practise for their practical test but it is so important that they don’t forget their theory test either. Theory tests are vital when it comes to getting your driving licence and you will want to ensure you really know your stuff before taking the test.

Theory Test Practice

Here at Progress School of Motoring, we also have our very popular theory practice tests available on the website to enable our everyone to test their knowledge in advance of their official theory test. Results from these theory practice tests can be shared with your Progress instructor for feedback and more support to aid you in getting your licence quickly.

To check out the theory practice tests for yourself, visit the website where you will be able to access the tests and practice the elements which you are struggling with most. This is a really great resource for everyone, especially for those who may find the non-practical side of things more difficult than the practical test.

With Progress School of Motoring, there is no stopping you when it comes to achieving your driving dreams. With full support from our fully trained driving instructors, learner drivers can test their theory knowledge and can take an intensive course to further their practical driving skills and get them closer towards being ready for their practical test.
