Here at Progress School of Motoring, we take great pride in making sure that our students not only learn to drive quickly but that they drive safely too. We invest time and effort into student support, all to ensure that the amount of student's which pass is as high as possible.
With this in mind, we have decided to take the next step, which is why we have developed our Progress Youth service. This particular service is designed for those who are over the age of 14, enabling them to get the basics of driving a car, as well as sitting their theory test, all before they even turn 17.
So, how are we doing this?
Now, we know what you are thinking, the legal age to learn to drive is 17, so how are we providing this service? The Progress Youth lessons are held on private land, which has been agreed and approved to be able to be used for these driving lessons. This means everything is incredibly well controlled, safe and we really feel we are contributing to the development of road safety for the next generation of drivers.
For anyone over the age of 14, you will be able to get behind the wheel of our dual control cars, with a fully qualified and experienced driving instructor. Here you will learn the foundations of good theory and awareness, along with the basics of how to control and drive a car and gain confidence in your own ability.
Is it just driving?
Whilst the actual driving experience is one of the key elements of Progress Youth, there is actually so much more to our ever-expanding service. We also help both teenagers and adults to take a look at their theory test, this can be taken online for free, which will help you to feel more ready and calmer about taking the test when it is the real time for it. Also, check out our Progress Hazard Perception app - with fully authorised DVSA-approved hazard perception practice clips too.
Join us for our launch
We are so excited about being able to show everyone just what Progress Youth can do for them. In order to showcase the service and allow people to experience it, we have put together our launch event. Held on the 1st June 2019 at Prestatyn Market. For those who arrive after 11am (although we do suggest that you arrive as close to this as possible in order to secure a space), we are aiming for as many teenagers as possible who are over the age of 14 are going to be able to get behind the wheel of a car.
The cost of having this driving experience is only a £3 donation, which will go straight towards supporting Cancer Research UK and all of the great work that they do.
We hope to see you on the 1st June, but if you do have any questions about this particular service and how it can help you, then please do get in touch. We would be more than happy to discuss Progress Youth and what it can do for you or the teenagers in your life.
